Rented!

Another big step towards departure: our house has rented for the full six months, to a nice Egyptian family. We're trading spaces, almost! I must say I'm rather glad we're heading to their weather rather than the other way around!! The boys' guitar teacher, who spent time in the middle east, said it's "Paradise, at this time of year"! I hope so!

Israel at Christmas time

Flying on December 27th to the land where Christ was born puts us right between the western and eastern Christmas celebration dates! We'll celebrate, for sure!

Paul, Bronwyn, Elliot & Oliver, lugging several heavy suitcases, will arrive on Dec. 28th at Tantur (meaning "hilltop"), between Jerusalem and Bethlehem, where hopefully we will find a furnished apartment ready and waiting for us. If not, we'll look for a stable!
